Tosa Inu is not used 'only to kill'. The Japanese style of dog fighting is more stylized than any other. The dogs are not supposed to draw blood. They are trained to pretty much stare each other down and shove each other around.... much like Sumo wrestling, which in my opinion is an interesting art form... a martial art without violence... cool.

A well-bred Tosa is not supposed to show any aggression towards humans. Whatever you got is therefore not well-bred. Anyway it's almost impossible to find them outside of Japan. It's tough to get permission to export them- they are considered too valuable.

Breeding dogs for the usual bloodbath form of pit fighting, and trying to breed aggression into a dog, is morally repugnant.
