SECURITY ---ever feel unsafe ? get a big ass dog

I don't get why people have such ugly noisy fucking thing's and let them terrorize people. I'm not a fan of dogs, I don't hate them, the small one's and laidback one's are alright, but why would you want a dog you have to muzzle or lock away if people are around? I just never got that whole thing. Your either very lonely, paranoid, or shit scared to want a dog what would kill another dog or animal or human left to its own devices.

At least some Akitas have a technique, for all I know other dogs do the same thing though I don't have any dogs, they get the other dog by the back of the neck, flip it over and rip out its throat. Pit bulls, of course, have a unique jaw structure so that they have the biting strength of a lion.

SECURITY ---ever feel unsafe ? get a big ass dog

A cab driver once told me a story about a dog incident he witnessed years ago. A person was walking an Irish Wolfhound, that was a trained show-dog, in the park on a leash. An unleashed pit-bull saw it and came charging across the grass to attack. When it got close enough, the pit-bull tried to go for the Wolfhound's throat, but the Wolfhound reared his head up and grabbed the pit-bull by the scruff of it's neck with his teeth, picking it up and shaking violently until it's neck was snapped. When the pit-bull was dead the Irish Wolfhound dropped it to the ground and went back to his walk like nothing happened.

    Petfinder is the best!
That's how I found The Tess too! I can't believe she was a stray... someone had obviously spent a lot of time training her. Great house manners, never chews ANYTHING but her toys, doesn't need to be leashed in the yard, and knows a whole bunch of commands!
I keep checking back to see if there are any male OEB crosses (she can't live with a female). It's a really nice breed.

As powerful as they are, the Irish Wolfhound is extremely good with kids. There was a family that owned one near my grade school, and they kept him in the front yard, behind the fence. The kids used to stop to pet him every day on the way to school. He was the extremely gentle and good-natured.

This breed, albeit in a pack, was bred to hunt down and kill wolves - which are far more dangerous than any dog, or most other animals for that matter.

Well that makes sense then that it would see a charging pit in the same light as a wolf, but not recognize children as prey.
