HARVEST QUESTION
To early of a harvest is going to affect the potency and of course it will also affect the yield. Check out my signature for "Trichome Chart" and give a click. Use a 30X magnifying glass and see where your trichs are at.
Have a good harvest!

HARVEST QUESTION
Going balls to the wall first time around is awesome...long as you know that it might all be a learning experience with nothing to show. However, looks like youve definitely got some stuff to show!
Read everything the guys mentioned. You harvest on trichrome maturity. There are 3 simple stages; clear, cloudy, and amber. Clear is to early, amber is to late. Typically, (although everyone has their own opinion of the exact time), you want mostly everything to be cloudy with some showing amber. The trichromes will continue to mature while you are drying to bud.
Clear will yield you a high that goes away to quick, but will be fairly energetic and more heady. Cloudy is about perfect, and I feel cloudy gives you the best representation of the strain (whether its a dominantly indica or sativa, etc). Amber will give you the couch lock/painkiller high. Of course, some strains are just heady or body in general...
Best way? Follow some general rules, and over time, figure out what works best for you. My favorite thing to do is to harvest half at one time and half a week later. This then gives you first hand experience of whether you like them a little early or a little late.
