Weed references in the media

Is it just me, or is there A LOT of references to weed in the media?

Like the other night then I was baked and in my bed watchin' TV then this comedian comes on and before I know it I hear him talking about weed, he was like "Imagine a big pile of weed" and stuff.

Then tonight, on Drawn Together then these 2 deer are like "Hey, you wanna go get baked?" "Yeahh"

Plus theres so many references in movies and stuff.

i see what youre getting at but stand up comedy and animated shows dont really qualify as media, i think you mean on tv, not trying to be a prick here but there is a big difference between the media and everything else on tv

Also in Pulp Fiction all the clocks say 4:20....

Theres references everywhere....Kind of funny actually.

Yea dude in cartoon shows its mentioned alot.

The other night I was watchin Futurama and Fry found an old Hippy Volkswagen.

When the professer was looking at it he asked somthin like "Wheres the time perception descrambler?" and fry was like "Right here under the front seat" and pulls out a little bong lol I cracked up for 10 minutes.

We are hyper-aware of anything marijuana related.

The new Del Taco ad says their new menu "cures the munchies" and has a long haired stoner, with a skateboard, a grin, and chink eyes on it.
