when it comes to pruning there isnt an exact guidline on how much an when its jus down to personal choice. I prune 1 week before flowering an if needed during flowering to reveal the bottom buds...if you dont want to disturb the plant while flowering you can tie down the big fan leaves an that will suffice...

Yes yes yes its bad to cut any leaves,they are your factorys to grow with,if you need to open them up do what i dom,i tie up an tie down all my plants
