Sexing and Cutting Question
Yes like Dutch said, depending on how long you vegged for, they can show pistils even before you go into flowering. If they are almost ready, then switching to flowering can show them almost immediatly.
Never take cuttings when the plants are into flowering. Your ok for the first week usually (although id avoid it if you can), but anything after that and your clones will take forever to root and stunt for quite a while (potentially a month!)
But what exactly do you mean by taking cuttings from a plant and the putting it back into veg. Is the plant into flowering? You can take clones from a plant that is in veg, and then continue to veg it. After the shock wears off, it will continue to grow. When you take cuttings, consider leaving atleast one node on the branch so that it will grow back.
