Problems with my piercings when high...

I constantly have problems with my piercings when i'm high. I've had my tongue pierced for over a year now and it never bothers me until I get high. It's not painful or anything like that, just a bit annoying. And I always feel like I'm pressing super hard on my lip piercing with my top lip. I stopped smoking right after I first got it pierced because I got so paranoid that I was pressing against it hard enough that it would fuck it up while it was healing.

And last night I was playing Guitar Hero, and the end of the guitar was pressing against my right nipple piercing and it was crazy annoying, I had to keep shifting.

None of these piercings bother me at all when I'm sober, so I dunno. I'm not asking for advice really, because I suppose all there is for me to do is to 1.) take out the piercings or 2.) stop smoking, neither of which im going to do. Plus, like I said its only slightly uncomfortable at times.

I was just wondering if this is just me, or if any other people with piercings are having these problems.

Piercings can be a pain in the ass. Sometimes when your high a piercing can hurt worse if its already hurting, or can be annoying. I think you just become much more aware of your piercing when you are high.
Yesterday I had to get my 12g conch piercing taken out...

Sorry you had to retire your conch. I've got some 10g inner conches that are healing amazingly well.

yeah , I don't have any piercings. But my tattoo gets sensitive as fuck when im high sometimes, If im sunburned and ripped ,its over. Thats crazy you had your piercing for so long though , I got my tat no more than 6 months ago.

Yeah I am really sad. It was most definitly my favorite ear piercing. I got in in July of 05...and it seemed to heal okay after a year, then I went on a cycling trip through Europe and I think the environment it was in just fucked it up.

When the piercer dude took it out he said that it didn't work out because it was pierced too much on the rounded part of my inner ear....and the diameter of the ring was too small.

It just wasn't healing, it was totally irritated...I was sleeping on it. Too bad....oh well. He said he could do it again with flexible metal called Taigon(sp) and that it would be better.

I still have my 16g conch...but nothin' was like my 12g conch..rip!

Conches are a bitch to heal, and are by far the most painful piercings I've gotten. I'm still deciding whether or not I'm going to get my traguses (tragi?) done.

Yeah, tygon, might work, but you might be able to get steel with better placement.

I'm such a piercing/tattoo nerd.
