Medical marijuana isn't cheap. Depending on where you get it and what strain you're getting you can expect to pay anwhere from $40-$65 for an 1/8th. A couple places even charge sales tax! Also, a lot of places won't give much, if any, break for higher quantities. Probably to discourage people buying to make a profit.

Although it is pricey the stuff is usually seriously DANK. The weed folks pick up inthe mid-west for $60 a 1/2 just doesn't compare. Plus these places will typically have quite a few strains to choose from and you know what you're getting. If they say it's white widow then it is white widow. They'll also have 100% sativas, 100% indicas, and crosses of the two. It's great to be able to pick up some of each. Want to wake-n-bake? Choose a nice sativa. Ready for bed? Go for the indica.

Loopholes for getting a card? Sure, if you're at least 18 and creative. I know that there are some pretty shady docs up in San Francisco that will help you get a card. For a fee of course. But this is the type of thing that has a negative impact on the whole medical marijuana issue. If you want to do something that could potentially lead to a really sick person not being able to get the help they need it's your business. Just remember, Karma's a bitch.
