I actually think Sony is on verge of bankruptcy and will probably lose out amongst the next gen consoles. They're already losing their corner of the market back to xbox and nintendo with their less than stellar numbers with sold units of the PSP, delay of the PS3, faulty laptop batteries etc. Sony are in way over their heads.

Nintendo seems to be keeping things fairly simple with their "fuck graphics and shit, lets play some damn games already" attitude, which has actually won them more legions of fans. Just take a look at the online Wii fan club. They're everywhere!

Xbox360 jumped the gun early meaning less advanced hardware development time, but greater sales since theres no competition.

i dont have 360, dont care for ps3. i play just sports games, so i go with xbox cause of graphics. but ps2 did have a better selection of games, and yes the controller style cant be beat. except maybe the SNES, simple yet so sweet.

Major drawback of nintendo is their games are all fluff & stuff, i.e. kiddie games. I like to play violent and bloody games, and nintendo leaves me limp most of the time.

I've been playing Metal Gear non stop for the past few days. I pulled out MGS3 and did a quick run through of that, then I did a full run through of MGS2, and today I've been playing MGS on my old playstation. I still get shivers when I see old pixelated snake pull off his mask in the elavator in MGS.

And as all MGS fans are probably thinking, I can't fucking wait for MGS4 too.
