Yeah, I am enjoying the battle system more now. I'm about 8 hrs into the game and I have died a few times now. I'm glad there isn't that annoying loading screen anymore every time you enter a battle. It tends to flow a lot better. The only thing I dislike is how I fell I have limited control at times.
JaggedEdge Reviewed by JaggedEdge on . Just got Final Fantasy XII So, I just bought Final Fantasy XII and popped it in my PS2. My initial feelings are very mixed. Graphics are amazing, sound is good so far, but the new battle system hasn't impressed me so far. It is real time and all you do is click attack and the characters attack. I'm having a hard time seeing where stratagy will come in. Why couldn't they just use the old fashioned turn based? I hope the story makes up for the sub-par battle system. That crap they released before this made me loose a Rating: 5
