I'm wanting to grab one of those, anyone have one already? I just want to know if it's worth it. Does it just have a high intensity vibration, or does it work more like hand mixing with a wooden spoon?

I do it basically the same way as everyone else with a few small modifications that I feel make it some of the best I have tasted.
