it is prolly the dust the flint in the lighter makes when the wheel grinds it when u light the lighter, it sparks when it hits flame or a cherry

this is the likeliest culprit, if you light your lighter anywhere near your bowl.... or play with the spark wheel, when you turn it all slow, the dust builds up inside, so even ifyou light it far away from the bowl then tilt it to light the bowl, it could still have the same effect.... i do this all the time for fun/boredom

yeah, we smoked this stuff that had gotten wet but we dried out and it was sparking like crazy when we were smoking it. it looked pretty cool

i cant set my mood as stoned or high or something, thats really lame

I'm pretty sure its from microscopic pieces of flint jumping off the lighter into the bowl. I've experienced that before too, and always chalked it up to that.

its probably the flint from the lighter, cause i know a party trick where you take a bic lighter, and spark it alot, and then tap it on a white surface, and therees powdered flint that falls out.

then you lighty lick your joint and roll it in the black powder, then when you hit it if there isw any black powder where your hit is then it will spark

it looks pretty cool if you get alot of flint
