This was stemmed (no pun intended) from the "Making a girl friend into a girlfriend" thread. I could only think of three really obnoxious things that have happened repeatedly: 1. Not calling me back (but it doesnt really make me that mad lol) 2. Interrupting me 3. This pick up line...seriously never use this it makes you look like a dumbass: Girl: "What are you doin tonight/later on/whenever" Guy: "You/Hopefully Rating: 5

i agree with that actually, however you girls look at it, u always go for the guys with big egos, yet you complain when they just use you for a one night stand....

on the other hand however, you girls always say that shy guys should be more confident, then mistake that confidence for big ego-ness

thats what i hate about girls.... they complain about getting heartbroken by the "badboy" with the big ego, but don't even consider going for the nice guys who would do anything to make you happy :thumbsup:

I mean geez, stop crying about some guy that humped u and dumped u, cuz u know that you'll go for exactly the same guy next time, even though theres a nice guy who u probably consider "just a friend" despite the fact he probably wants to be more than friends!

But see, there's the nice guys who complain about how they're nice, how these assholes get all the girls. When you are labeled a "nice guy" it's the equilvalent of being called boring, a failure to identify other qualities about a guy and it's a generic label slapped upon them. How assholes fuck up in relationships is different than the nice guys. Nice guys can be as deceitful as assholes. You have nice guys that lie, cheat, don't have any balls, shows weakness. I'm sure for a girl to be hurt by a nice guy is far more devastating than being hurt by an asshole. After all, nice guys are supposely harmless.

Believe me, so am I.

However I try to shed the typical notion of what a nice guy is suppose to be, think outside the box a little and see things how they really are the best you can. You can't expect to suddenly to have your perfect dream woman fall upon your lap. We all have to go through trials and tribulation to find that companion each one of us desires. It's not a question of confidence, it's not a question of doing something over-the-top to impress a girl. Be yourself and talk to one and see what happens. Yea, easier said than done, but a couple of rejections and you'll harden like stone, why bother with someone that rejected you?

i hate when guys get violent/loud/agressive...my father was an abusive drunk. i do not want to be yelled at/pushed pulled/threatened/hit kicked slapped. that's why i've studdied martial arts for 14 years...
