picking lights for a cab
so i'm currently designing an indoor setup in a footlocker (hoping for 1 or 2 plants at a time). it looks like the dimensions will be (feet) 4.0' x 2.5' x 1.5'
I was thinking two 42 watt CFL one on each side at the top of the cab for veg (24/0 for veg? does it matter what color temp it is?)
I'm a little lost on what I should be using for flowering period. What is the theory behind lighting for flowering period in terms of light amount, light duration and color temp for the light?
Side question: What kind of electricity bill jump would you all expect for a little cab setup like this?Taiden Reviewed by Taiden on . picking lights for a cab so i'm currently designing an indoor setup in a footlocker (hoping for 1 or 2 plants at a time). it looks like the dimensions will be (feet) 4.0' x 2.5' x 1.5' I was thinking two 42 watt CFL one on each side at the top of the cab for veg (24/0 for veg? does it matter what color temp it is?) picking lights for a cab
Any ideas guys?
I'm currently trying to find a place that sells Mylar. Figuring everything out before I go buy stuff. Still wonderin about that light though... I think 2x 42 watt CFLs would work fine for veg. Perhaps it would work alright for flowering too, as long as i put the lighting to 12/12 or whatever most people do.

Say, 18/6 for veg phases...
Then, switch over to 12/12 to induce flowering to the plants.
RE: Color... you should read some information... I really don't know the ins and outs of the color/temp of the fluorescent bulbs.
RE: Electricity bill costs <--
You can determine, down to the penny, how much $ will this setup cost.
Wikipedia is your friend.
your total watts * cost of 1KWH * hours turned ON per month = total cost
(I believe).
