What the hell? Weed doesn't make people rape people, or act like whores... it makes you RELAX.
Buddahbear Reviewed by Buddahbear on . "Above the Influence" I'm above the influence of retarded anti-marijuana advertisement campaigns. I'm not saying that weed's the greatest thing for you, but I smoke weed every day all day and I am filled with life and energy. Never once have I thought it would be a good idea to play with a pitbull or run over a little girl riding a bike. Why not focus attention on something a little more serious? Like PERSCRIPTION PILLS(way more addictive and deadly than marijuana)! Oh wait... the advertisers wouldn't much care for Rating: 5:rastasmoke:

there are a lot of meth commercials on TV here, but meth is pretty big in Iowa. the marijuana commercials are funny to me. i especially love the one where he says all they did was sit on pete's couch for 11 hours. must have been more than weed! the one where the guy wakes up with a phone call from his friend is funny too because its so unrealistic. usually when i am stoned i like to stick around my friends and girlfriend. i think its trying to say if you get stoned you will forget about your friends and not give a shit, but they are all just so outrageous and ridiculous its hard to tell what they are getting at sometimes.

If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors.[/SIZE]

That commercial is more alchahol, even though they say "high". They want you to think it's pot. Nobody does anything dumb enough to matter when they're high except eat all the food.

More importantly, I don't think it affects anyone anyway. I mean, you either smoke or don't, and you're either for it or not. No one turns on the TV one day and says "Wow. I never knew how bad marijuana was!" by the time they see a commercial they've already made up their mind about the subject.Originally Posted by LIP

I just hate when they try to put a negative stigma on something that if done responsibly is very positive.
