Becoming a "legitimate" medical marijuana supplier
I been thinking a lot, and in the long-term, this is something I want to pursue. Some of you may know I have testicular cancer, and although I have smoked cannabis for years, I never realized the true medicinal value until I used cannabis to relieve the awlful symptoms of chemotherapy. To tell you the truth, cannabis is much more effective than any of the expensive meds like Zofran, and Dexadron. This is what is inspiring me to do this, to help people with terminal illnesses by supplying high quality cannabis at affordable prices.
The main things I want to find out is about the system itself. I'm going to eventually move to California and start it up there.
Is there some registration system to become a provider and what steps would I need to take? Details on how the medical system works.
I'm aware of the risk I'm taking, but I want to become legitimate as possible and only deal with the truly ill, chronic conditions, terminally ill patients.thcbongman Reviewed by thcbongman on . Well I feel I should still warn you. As you know Medical marijuana is legal by Cali law but not federal law. A few of my friends are from there and a lot of people get fucked over even though they are allowed to by state law.
Two weeks ago in Calgary Canada a grower who was doing exactly what you want to do got arrested and tried. There was some serious bullshit around that case and he is getting a retrial because of it.

here is a list of California doctors that write marijuana recommendations ... http://www.canorml.org/prop/215physicians.html
the only hassles up here in northern California are the busts of 'dispensaries' and 'cannabis clubs' that are merely 'fronts' to sell pot ... that's just the facts, the dispensaries are a bad idea, their pot is usually shit, prices are high, and gangbangers are making the money ... the Feds are busting them occasionally, but not bothering home growers ... local authorities around here are quite supportive of the medical user, in fact ... the California Highway Patrol Commandant issued a press release months ago, that instructed officers to NOT confiscate MJ from traffic stops, unless the driver is under the influence ... if caught with pot, you are to be released, upon proof of medical status, and substances returned ... for the private, prescribed user, growing his own, there are generally no hassles, unless other crimes are involved ... local police have been to my home, with my plants in plain sight, etc... the police paid absolutely no attention to them, just a glance and a smile ... grow your own, smoke it in private, you won't be hassled ... carry a gun, sell dope, you will probably go to jail, as you should ... :smokin:
