Curing the bud will give it extra potency, as it activates THC and other cannabinoids, whilst breaking down chemicals in the plant matter, such as chlorophyl. This will give it the weedy taste and smell, and not a greeny smell/taste.

Yeah! That's what I don't get about people trying to cook their weed and smoke it wet. You're after THC not fucking plant matter!
