    OK, I effed up already.....

So, under the influence of everyone's favorite medicine, I decided to try spraying a sugar water solution on my plants, as I've heard this energizes the plants due to glucose as well as gives the final product a sweeter taste. Anyways, long story short, the solution was WAY too concentrated with sugar and as a result, there are sugary splotches all over the leaves of my plants I tried spraying them again with pure H20 yesterday, but it didn't really make a difference. What should I do to get my plant clean?? I can try and get some pictures up today....

Spray with pure water until it runs off.

Then I would do a dilute foliar feeding, as heavy spraying with pure water can leach nutrients.

Yeah, I'm sure sugar can be used somehow though, it's pure bottled energy for all life.
    Anyone know a good method?

cool, thanks. How often should I spray the plants with water to get rid of the sugar, I'm really worried about overwatering. Also, I just watered and fed them yesterday. if you want pics of my plants/set-up, look for the other thread I made....

It's okay if there's a little residue left. Shouldn't hurt them. Just spray, allow to dry, see how much is left, spray again till it's pretty well gone.

Sugar is useful as a supplement that you can add the the water. I add molasses at the rate of a glob per gallon for my flowering plants, maybe once every 2 weeks.

Hi Stinky, been following your thread, fun stuff
Can sugar be used beneficially for veg too? how much is a glob, like a tablespoon full? And apart from the conserving attributes I seem to remember molasses having, would sugar do just as good?

Its just higher glucose concerntration, use a table spoon of sugar to the gallen (this doesnt mean spray your plants with it). or you dcan do the same with molasses, might make a tiny difference.

sugars, etc., also attract insects ... stick with your prepared nutrients, they will have more than enough sugar and carbs in their "Bloom" mixtures ... sugars will produce an extremely harsh smoke ... 'keep it simple' ... :smokin:
