i just dont get it i've done alot of reading up since i started growing well thats all it seems ive done lol but any way one thing i read up on was lighting and i know that mv give's off a shit light spectrum compared to your hps or mh lights. but befor hps and mh lights mv was used all over the world so it cant be all that bad can it tell me what you all think i know its shit but it's all i have at the min unless them 2x58w flo's are ok but i dont think there is enough lum's from just them two light's so which is why i have the mv running as well. the mv is putting out 32,000 lum's plus the 8,650 lum's from both the flo's any way any feed bk on this is most welcome laters all

i know that it seems a good idea to throw 30,000+/- lumens on them but, it is the wrong spec, so the plant won't use as much light... my personal experience with merc vapour was way too much heat, way too little light; those under floro's only were double the size as the ones under mv...

for twenty bucks you can get another 48" fixture and two 40w GE day light bulbs. that'll be all you need until flower

hey kp thanks for the advice hun yeah i know the mv puts out too much heat but thats all sorted i got my temps down to 78 now and humidity is round the 45-50 mark which is perfect there or bouts. also im all ready 2 weeks into flowering now she showed sex the other day and it is a lady. i no its more the spectrum than the lum's but untill i got this grow out the way hun i cant do nothing as in getting more kit and lights. and coz its xmas im well and truely skint unless some one is willing to part with some kit (only messing) but as soon as this is out the way im getting all new stuff plus a new bulb lol i am going hydro nxt time not my nft but ebb and flow much better and bigger yeilds if done right ne way i feel really ill so im off i'll update in a couple of days take care all and have a gd new years eve.

well hello all errm where do i start i think my baby has a disease it's all wilted and looks to have what i can only describe as rust on the leafs. i took two cutting's last night and they seem to be taking really well so do u think it would be a good idea to take as many cutting's as i can and just kill off the main one. i just aint got a clue what to do any help would be most greatfull. im going to put the two cuttings in my nft system once roots are showing untill i can afford my new system any way feed bk most welcome

well just to update ive taken 9 clones off of my baby and placed them in peat pellets as im gonna carry on in soil ive decided. hopefully they will all take and do well but just gotta wait now init. i aint gonna use my mv light any more 1 its shit and 2 i cant afford the electric lol so im useing them strip lights i have a 20w cfl and a 1ft strip light above my propagator so that should be enough light for now untill i transplant into pot's. i'll post some pics later if i have time
