Being Sober
Is a nice of state mind every now and than. Don't get me wrong I'll top of a nice brew every now and than. But for weed, I'm no longer a daily user, I havent smoked the budha for about a mouth. The main reason I took a break was because I'm currently out of a job and I wont to start busting my ass and getting my shit together. When I was smoking daily, I thought I couldn't live without weed. I was in a deep marijuana haze for a good while. It was fun and hell, I wont lie. I love marijuana. You just gotta know your limit. And believe you can live and thrive on this earth without weed 24-7, Dont get me wrong weed is a nice life tool to release from the stresses of this world every now and than but when used in extrem excess like I did, it can and will have a negitive effect of your life, If nothing more than your pocket book will take a hit.
I'm not trying to change anyones use, But to just state that being clear headed can be a positive every now and than. I'm looking forward to my next toke when my tolerance is really low.
Who here has taken breaks from weed?LazySmoking420 Reviewed by LazySmoking420 on . Being Sober Is a nice of state mind every now and than. I'm in the same boat. I prefer to think that I take occasional breaks from sobriety rather than the other way around. Sure smoking is fun, but dependancy is not. To each their own though, I suppose.

If you think about it, being sober can be just as much of an expirience as being stoned. You've probably already thought this, as it seems like a natural path of thought for a stoner after taking a break from a lot of smoking...
But if what if we were born stoned? And a drug like marijuana made us sober instead? People would still smoke it... We can't really understand what it would be like to grow up stoned, our perception of it would be quite different, but the fuzzyness would definately be noticeable after smoking some Clearminding-drugs. And if there is a way to cloud your mind, is there a way to make us even more clear-minded? Psychedelics do this in a way, but they cloud quite a lot at the same time, certain mental abilities are enhanced and weakened.
After smoking a lot, I really do appreciate being sober like you said... I think when I have the finances i'd like to keep it 50/50.
And then draw out some sobriety time for a tolerance break.
I really need to do some more psychedelics... Enlightenment isn't just a whimsical fantasy.

As for enlightenment, I think you might get a taste, but I don't think its going to be acheived in any sort of lasting sense through the use of a drug. Just my thoughts.

The mind is a beautiful, but also controllable, thing.

sure. but let me phrase this another way.
After you're comfortable being high, you almost don't need bud to get that way. You can just remember being high and put yourself in the same sort of mindset.
Maybe if you take drugs for insight you could just learn how to be insightful, and then be that way even while sober.

you've all inspired me to do an experiemnt. I'm going to make a kid tonight, and make sure that kid is stoned 24/7....then when he/she is 17 i take away the weed. It would be funny to see how he/she reacts. I'll get back to you in 17 years and 9 months, stay tuned

I know exactly what you mean man. I've probably smoked like once in the last 2 months. I used to smoke a hell of a lot more when I was younger, and I wanted to smoke everyday...but, then once you take a few days off, you're back to enjoying soberness. Now getting lit up is an event again, and I like it better that way. But as for the beer...well...I'm in my college years so....I'ma hang on to that LOL.
