Anyone find Visine hurts more than it helps?

Dude I use these things called Rohtos or Rotos somthin like that.

When you drop it in your eye it cools it a shitload. Its so cool feeling when your eye honestly gets to like 40 degrees for a couple seconds. They work awsome as well.

My eyes don't usually get too red, but sometimes I use a little Visine just to be safe and my eyes are more comfortable and less irritated. Sometimes I feel like my eyes are way more dilated and glassy after using it though, and it's far more obvious than before. Anyone else or is it just me? BTW, what's actually in visine?

The active ingredient in Visine is tetrahydrozoline. It is a vasoconstrictor so it hides the red blood vessels in your eyeballs that make them red. Clear eyes and most of the other ones use vasoconstrictors from this same family of drugs but not necessarily tetrahydrozoline. Clear eyes uses naphazoline. Rohto has one eye drop that uses tetrahydrozoline and one that uses naphazoline. Like I said, they all come from the same family of drugs but slightly different. One may work better for one person and one may work better for another person. If you use too much, that can cause a "rebound" effect and have the opposite effect. I have seen people just jam the bottle in the corner of their eye and squeeze it till there is a river flowing out of their eye.

It is very rare for your eye to dilate from Visine. If it is try another product.

Yeah I just use it for parents or cops. I don't care if people know, I always crack up in the pizza place and act really blazed nobody cares.

I've personally never had a problem with Visine. I used to use it religiously before i ran out, not its over to Bausch and Lomb Opcon A or some shit like that. Its really nice and works well.

i like clear eyes alot more then visine....but if u put more then like 1 drop in it makes ur eyes really fuckin red

Why cops? Just don't look them in the eyes, and don't hang around them. If you see one when high...ignore them, they can't just be like "WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! Buddy, your eyes are way red, EMPTY YOUR POCKETS STONER!"

I sometimes use "clear eyes" I think thats it, cause sometimes my parents go out for an hour or two, and I know I'll be blitzed when they get back so I'll pop in a drop in each eye, eat some shit, and I'm good.

It used to work really good, like one time my eyes were red (not from smoking though) and so I put some in and my friends like "wow that helped a lot" but now I feel like I have built up a tolerance, thats why I try to use it only when I need it. My eyes don't get real red though so it can be hard to tell.

if your going to use eye drops you need to use Rhoto's, they hurt but work like wonders..
