Hey, friend. I'm OK. Tired and emotionally exhausted but still basically OK. Our whole family's that way right now, as you can imagine. I don't think I've learned or absorbed a thing that's been taught at school so far this week, which is sad.

I'll try and find a shop nearby. I don't have any machinists in my circle, to be honest, and don't even know where to begin looking. If a local search doesn't pan out, I will indeed send it to you. You will be my heroine if you can make it possible for me to get to my next-to-new bottle of Ysatis de Givenchy! Come to think of it, one of my friends from my teaching days is married to a guy who teaches industrial arts to high school kids. He could probably help me access my cologne, couldn't he?

birdgirl73 Reviewed by birdgirl73 on 11-02-2006. my bong is finished i found a nice vase while out shopping and couldnt help but imagine the bong this could be, its super heavy duty glass 1/4inch thick and about 24" high all she needed was a hole drilled for a downstem. well this was easy as i work in a machine shop and all tools i needed were there, all i used was a simple drill bit and a drill press and drilled my hole, then went to the headshop and got a simple downstem/bowl setup to get me going for now. plan on upgrading the bowl later but man is this Rating: 5

It's a beautiful bong, Invision, and it makes perfect sense to me that a glass company could mass-market those as vases for the people who aren't as infatuated with smoking our beloved plant and drilled and equipped as bongs for headshop retailers. It wouldn't surprise me if there were some lamps someplace, too, that have that very same base.

i think this might be the case. i know i have seen bongs in headshops just like this, like exactly like this. but you obivously drilled a hole, so maybe there is some big vase manufacturing company, and some pot smoking craftsmen bought a hell of a lot of them and turned them into bongs.... anyways, this is far too much thought for this topic anyways... nice bong!

you really dont need to prove anything to me, all im saying is ive seen worse here. call me a cynic but i have trouble trusting people over the internet, particularly this site, it is nothing against you, it could have been anyone posting it.

Sounds like you had a bad experience on the net. I know it happend all too often so it's something I can relate to. Just some people that I thought were my friends seem to really not be. I was being used as they were the ones that "got me and the others didn't" I felt like I was a pawn. So, I quietly exited the place and have remained quiet about the situation.
Sometimes, you have to pick your battles.

But on this site so far, everybody has been , for the most part, ok people.

Maybe you can feel more comfortable here now. BG is a mod and when I'm here, I won't allow bad stuff when I see it. I have no problem reporting stuff.

Is there any way to get this weeks lessons on tape and play them while you sleep? Some students record their classes.
Hubby and I would be more then happy to help you with your Ysatis de Givenchy. Hubby is really good and precise. The teacher may have the tools. Have you seen his work/ Is he good and steady?

Maybe. It is possible that a craftsman saw the vases and bought a bunch with the same idea in mind as invision. totally possible.
Maybe invision should price those and price his accordingly.

did you make the one beside it, reminds me of one me and my brother made from a beaker we err borrowed i sat there for nearly a day with the glass gutter making sure it was all perfect..

it's pretty obvious what's going on here, invision went out and bought a $100 bong at a headshop, took some pictures of it, posted them here and said he made it. The plan would have been perfect but it's a plant saw through invisions lies and called him on it. Not wanting to admit defeat invison quickly pulled out downstem and used a knife to chip away at the finely blown hole in the glass to make it look homemade. Took some pics of the hole and posted it. Nice try invison, but you can't fool us...
