my bong is finished

i found a nice vase while out shopping and couldnt help but imagine the bong this could be, its super heavy duty glass 1/4inch thick and about 24" high all she needed was a hole drilled for a downstem.

well this was easy as i work in a machine shop and all tools i needed were there, all i used was a simple drill bit and a drill press and drilled my hole, then went to the headshop and got a simple downstem/bowl setup to get me going for now.

plan on upgrading the bowl later but man is this thing a freaking lung buster :thumbsup: it delievers twice the hit my other bong does with zero throat burn, simply put this bong will hurt you :dance:

cost of vase- $4.87

downstem/bowl- $15.00

so for 19.87 i made a bong probly worth $150.00 :dance:

hmmmm sharp edges.......all jagged.......i would hope they would do a better job than that at the glass blowers.........i dont lie i have zero reason too.

Is that a Pier1 vase? Looks like a style they'd have.

well thank you i hope atleast someone can take this info and use it, it took maybe an hour to drill it i started using a 1/8th inch drill and worked my way up every single size untill the downstems rubber gromet fit snug.

honestly where can you buy a vase that looks like that, with the blue and white washed out look and the spiral handle up the side, besides a head shop

Pier1, Kohls and lots of places right now.
The 50's-60's retro look is in big time right now.

it got it at burlington coat factory they had tons of them and one that was taller i just didnt want something that tall.....i bet i could sell these

Pier1 has this really cool swirley red and white one that can be bongified.

That was another thought I had.... Burlington or World Market.

I bet you could make some serious bucks on those. You don't need to mention your cost to buyers. Charge at least $50.00
