Good soil, ventilation, nutrients, lots of light, and low temps...
Getting to week 5 for our Trainwreck soil grow. Here are some closeups. They are doing quite nicely. For the last week, we saw the Maxsea nutrient side spur up a bit and come closer to my Advanced Nutrients side (right side) but in the last couple days I have seen increased bud production and they are filling out faster then the Maxsea. It is about 15% less developed, there is more irregular height growth (although one got its top knocked off), and main stalk is slightly smaller.
They smell...wonderful! Trainwreck is the strain I have the most experience with and it constantly suprises me. They are drinking a LOT more water these days. They only go about 2-3 days between waterings, due to a much improved root structure and their larger size. I am doing about 1600-1700 ppm of nutes. They are loving it. In 2-3 weeks I will start the flushing. I use water and Flora Kleen. Flush for 1-2 weeks depending on how long they take.Racerx Reviewed by Racerx on . This is another flowering room. Just waiting on some cuttings to root and then this room gets filled to the brim. For now, its occupied by about 20 plants, including Trainwreck, Purps, Skunk #1, Cindy 99, and one Romulan. The clones were flowered immediatly upon rooting. Experimenting. Skunk #1, got em cause I wanted to compare my Skunk #1 to a friends grow, and the Purps/Romulan were accidently flowered (left em outside to long). One of the Skunk #1 is LSTed, the other is natural. Another comparison.
Due to a lack of bulbs (doh!), only one 600 digital is in use along with a 400 watt HPS. The 400 watt is about 10" from the canopy. One 6" 500cfm fan is pulling air from the room. An oscillating fan carries air around. It stays very cool and consistent inside.

What exactly are you talking about? Are you talking about how the fan leaves angle up near the top? I generally think this is because I like to let my plants dry out quite a bit before I water again, so they droop, and then they go the opposite of droop? Dunno why else, since both my plants and my roommates side do the same thing. It tends to be exagerated when I use nutrients.
I just realized that the Trainwreck photos are just starting week #4 of flower, not 5!!!!! I was already excited with the progress, but now considering that its a whole week behind what I thought...man!!!! Every day the plants put on about 10% more mass and vertical growth has finally stopped for the most part. The pictures from yesterday dont do today justice! Ive also never had a plant where the top fan leaves, even the larger ones (3"+), are just 100% covered in trichromes, top and bottom.
