What made you start smoking?

I tried it at 15 because I wanted too. I definately wasn't peer pressured or trying to escape from anything.

I was full of the stupid anti-drug shit when I was younger, and then I found out a lot of my friends smoked. I couldn't get any hookups till college, though, my school was bone dry and I didn't have anyone who I trusted.

With my best friend my freshman year at college... first 3 times I'm sure I wasn't inhaling properly, but it was still great.

The first time I got high? 4th time at home, in the woods, by myself with a mini bong, and that was that.

I tried it at 18 out of curiosity, but my usage became increasingly regular as an escape, or to re-evaluate and come to terms with some problems in my personal life. If nothing else, it's a great way to unwind after a hard day.

No reason at all. My friend just showed me some weed he pinched from his brother and was like "If you sleep over tonight we can smoke that" so I was like "aight" and the rest is history.

13 years old. Had a friend who smokes, so i thought i would try it. We got two joints rolled up from a trusting older brother, smoked em and i faked high like hell...Oh well, my 4th time smoking was hte first time i actually got stoned, and now its a daily routine for me...Get done wtih classes, knock out my homework, take a drive to my spot, hit a bowl, and come chill in the dorm...best shit ever

First time i tried i was 15 at summer camp. My girlfriend at the time smoked and she invited me to smoke with her and a few of her friends so i sed hells yeah and that was the greatest walk back to the bunk ive ever had:rasta:

i didn't start for any reason whatsoever. thats why i hate the anti-pot ads that claim its all about peer pressure when you are younger. thats bullshit the people that succomb to peer pressure and become pot heads are the people that will fail at life no matter what because they can't think for themselves.

but anyway i was 14 and my brother was about to smoke a blunt oustide our house. he asked if i wanted to smoke and i was like sure why not without even thinking about it. i got mad blazed lol. i quote "weed song" from bone thugs : 'then i took a puff and i realized i should always stay high'

i tried cigs before weed and when i first tried cigs i discovered i was in love with the act of smoking, so i think that contributed

first time i smoked i was chillin with friends and they all smoked, i was into other shit, drinking, pills, but just never got into smoking, my boy showed up at my house with a fat pound and told me no one was leaving untill i smoked an ounce of it down wit him, and thats how it all began.

I started when I was 12 or 13 (can't remember anymore :stoned: ). For me it was curiosity, plain and simple. All of the anti-drug shit the schools were pushing just made it all the more interesting sounding. So I hunted around until I met some guy who's older brother smoked and hooked me up with a bag. It was all uphill from there. That was about 25 long years ago.

I'm 20 and I recently started smoking this past april. I have 2 brothers 31 and 30 and 1 older sister 27 who as far back as i can remember would smoke like crazy. when i was in my early teens my sister would always ask me, and would say if i ever wanted to try it i could, but i was always afraid to, not gonna lie. And I guess I was brainwashed about how bad it was for you. Even a few of my friends would toke here and there at parties and shit but I would always pass. (if only i knew what i was missing out on!) They would respect my decision not to.

Until finally this april when my good friend came back from his college with a bag of some hazey shit, and my 2 other friends were doing it, And I thought to myself...fuck it, my brothers and sister have been toking for so long they've never had any health problems because of it I'm gonna do it. I did it, and I don't think i got that high, cause i was a noob at inhaling the smoke. I would take a real big hit out of my friends bong, then i would like choke on it and it wouldnt get all the way to my lungs. The 3rd time I tried it was the charm, I really got high cause I finally learned how to inhale it, going from small hits then bigger and bigger. And I've been smoking everyday since about late June with a few days break here and there for tolerance reasons.
