My project is my land. I have thousands of trees (I'm not exaggerating) that are literally standing in the way of the farm I want to have. So I go out there with a chainsaw and remove some trees for a few hours at a time. I also put up a fence without the help of any machinery. That's a work out that gives me something to show for it when I'm done besides just sore muscles.
Working out is very rewarding if you stick with it. You see your body change and it gives you more confidence. It's a work in progress, constantly changing. I used to live on a farm and I still lifted weights alot. It helped me in all the other activities I did. Wether it be dragging/carrying deer or rolling 400 pound sections of trees uphill. The added muscle and strength i had from weightlifting made and continues to make my life easier and more enjoyable in certain aspects.
