Hey all, new toker from Pittsburgh

Hey everybody, I've been a huge fan of this site for about a solid year now, and I finally broke down and registered. I was wondering if anyone new of a local Pittsburgh/Western PA NORML Chapter. I think that it is high time that we end pot prohibition. I suppose I am preaching to the choir here, but I really feel that the fact that our glorious, beloved herb is still considered by many of the un-informed, or mis-informed masses a drug, is simply absurd. We need to change this state of affairs. I live in PA, it sucks here, and although I think what groups like LEAP are doing is a right step, I don't know that mass legalization of all drugs will really solve anymore problems. Think about this for a second, though, the very constitution that this country laws, and fundamental beliefs were written on a peice of hemp. I don't know, I am happy to be here, with my fellow tokers, you are all a brilliant group.

    One love,

I don't think there is a NORML chapter in Western Pa. I may not agree with LEAP on all issues, but people might listen to a former cop. I would love for a LEAP speaker to come to my town and explain why pot should be legal.

Yeah, no doubt that would be pretty cool. Hmm, for all my fellow Western PA Pro Pot People, let's be progressive, and start a movement, and look into forming our own NORML chapter. I don't think it would be all that difficult, there are enough responsible adult smokers, around here, that would definatly support our cause.

Wow, a day when you can smoke bud without the fear of persecution...I don't see it as too distant. I love your enthusiasm, if all the millions of U.S. smokers joined the cause we could end this prohibition in no time.

    Happy Tokin'
