Again another Light Question.
Here is a pic of Bea, not looking very good. But Cee-cee is looking better but she is in a better draining container. Hopefully a replant of Bea will help. S
Bree1978 Reviewed by Bree1978 on . Again another Light Question. I tend to ramble a little, but bear with me please. Someone threw a seed in one of my plants (house, aloe) and Surprise! It sprouted. I tried to save it, although it took me a week and a half to get some decent lighting over it. I also transplanted it at this time (Saturday). I know it was way to early to do this, but I didn't want to wait to long with it being with that aloe plant (roots entertwining, ect;). Now it's first leaves that are not serrated are white and about to fall off, and Rating: 5

Oh dear. The country crock one is definitely overwatered and poor drainage. Are you planning on transplanting today? I would asap. Also country crock looks pretty dark green--perhaps that is just the photo. Also if you have not bought your ph meter anything for aquariiums will do great (but not anything that mixes into the water.) Good luck.....

Again another Light Question.
Going to repot tonight after I get the pearlite. Bea looks even worse this morning...meh. If you look at the last page you can see Ava, Bea, and Cee-cee are dark green with reddish -purple stems and stalks-I think it is the strain (which is badseed but it looks very indica to me, IT looks more sativa, don't you think?). I'm not sure what you mean by mixes into the water? Don't all ph testers involve taking a water sample and adding a few drops of ph testing liquid? I'm a pot head so maybe I am just thinking about this the wrong way....

Again another Light Question.
Sorry I was not clear about the ph stuff....by mixes into the water I meant things to adjust ph, not test it, but you had already mentioned you were using baking soda etc to adjust ph so just ignore that. Yes, the liquid testers involve taking water out, not putting anything in. I always seem to notice that particular color of leaves for 2 reasons--in hydro I would call that slight overfert (nitrogen) and I just plain like that color. Could be normal for soil or your strain; afraid I am not sure. Good luck!!

It could be the soil, since it has ferts in it. ?I was leaning more tword strain because of the purple stalks/stems. I also read somewhere that purple is caused by either strain or cold temps. I definitely do not have cold temps...but the temps do fluctuate more than I'd like. I guess as long as they are growing..............lol. I'll update once I get the ph and soil and temps sorted out. Thanks Weedhound. S

Again another Light Question.
Okay here is an update, and YET another newbie question for all you smart fellers and gals...IT has gotten a lot bigger and the seedlings have got somewhat bigger but I did have a little issue with them. I -you will never believe this-...wait for it....UNDERWATERED THEM! Gasp, I didn't think that was supposed to happen but aw well. I was so afraid of overwatering, that when they went limp I thought that overwater was the cause so I held back....Anyways that isnt my q...Now it and Ava are only growing one leaf at a time. They are normal five/seven fingered leaves but only one at a time, is this normal? Another little q with that...is this alternating nodes? Is It becoming sexually mature? It is about six weeks old I believe, although incredibly small. I've included a pic of what I am talking about, although the one of Ava is really fuzzy (it is just to show one complete leaf before the other is popping out). Do you think it is time to practice LSTing on IT? Hey thanks to anyone who wants to answer these silly qs. BTW, my temps are okay 72-80 F, but PH tester has yet to be found by me. Looks like a trip to the city...bugger! S
Edit: FYI, if you haven't read the whole thread Ava Bea and Cee-Cee are 22 days old. I also noticed that IT now looks indica...Now that it's bigger and healthier.
