KP, thanks for your suggestion. I thought about it long and hard and decided to take the middle road. After babying these girls for so long, I couldn't stand the thought of offing them before their time. What I did was trim off enough side branches from each that I could get them through the door without knocking the remaining buds around. Then I only needed to lift/carry them as far as the garage. Then I put them in the wheelbarrow to take them out to the GH so that was a lot less work than all the carrying I did the first time. I pruned out just a few strategic larger leaves to try to get more sun into them. They soaked up nice sun and warmth all day and I brought them back in tonight. It's supposed to freeze again tonight, then warm up so maybe after tomorrow I won't need to move them in and out any more and can just let them finish in the GH, probably another week, maybe two at most.

Big Easy, glad you like them. I've been gardening for a long time but growing medicine is so much more specialized now that I wasn't sure how well I would do. Sure has changed since I was young.
