Quitting Addictions
im sure lots of you have quit addictions before.. right now im going out cold turkey quitting cigs and coffee (caffienne) this is my 2nd day, and all i literaly do is sleep and eat. it sucks. ive only been smoking for a few months, but am quitting before i develope a lifelong bad habit. and ive been drinking coffee, every morning for about half a year.
i know i gotta ride it out, but how long does it take for my body to stop wanting the things i wont give it?
btw. . my body gets all the weed it wants, which helps.

Wow, I've never heard of someone getting hooked in a few months (unless by a few you mean like, 7). It will probably take a good month before you're cravings start to go down. If you feel like you need to smoke, use a patch instead. It will help.

I swear I am addicted to these hamburgers I got at my house, and this spaghetti sauce I got. I've been eating a burger everyday for a few weeks lol. Even if I don't feel like making it..I think about it for a few minutes, and I'm like 'Fuck it', and fire that shit up! I had to ween myself off the sauce, cuz it was getting to be a bitch to make all the time.
On a different note...whenever I am drunk, I always have a cig or two. This has been going on for like 5 years...I think tobacco addiction is overrated..why am I not addicted? LOL. I NEVER even think about a cig when I'm sober...so...ya...this is something I've never understood about myself. I have a friend who smokes during the week (pack a day), but doesn't smoke on the weekend when he goes home from school.

I'm addicted to air. I mean really addicted. I tried going cold turkey but I suddenly had this tightness in my chest and then I got dizy and eventually passed out. When I came to, there I was, breathing again. I just can't stop myself. God I need help.

This is a weed site. For this reason I'm closing this down before we get into talk which is not allowed by the posting guidelines.
Have a good one!
