yellowing leaves
plant : cali orange, 4 weeks flowering. NFT system. PH 5.8. rain water solution canna aqua flores 1.0 ppm + big bud half strength. solution changed every week, system flushed every two weeks. hope that's all the info you'll need. on the second week i noticed that the shade leaves were loosing colour, this has gradually progressed. and now i have noticed rust spots alone the edge of some of the leaves. am i not giving them enough feed or could it be something else? also i have been told to only run the systen every 2 hours, is this right?

yellowing leaves
The lower leaves often go yellow towards the end of the grow. It's just the plant using up all its stored nutrients.

Oh, that doesn't look good- if my plants looked like that I'd foliar feed with a complete veg fert and a little epsom salts- even that far into flower- better to add too some N than lose your whole plant- that's a pretty severe deficiency or lockout. From that pic you've got N def and possibly Mg def (that's why epsom salts).
You could also try increasing the concentration of your primary nutrient slightly.
For any more detailed help, wait until someone more hydro-oriented comes along!

It's up to you. That's what I would do if I had that problem, I bought a product called 'Iron Green' which is a Fe/N supplement for lawns, and I use it if there's a problem with chlorosis... but at this point in time I'm putting fish emulsion in my soil to avoid the problem to begin with... something you can't do in hydro.
If you use the veg nute, I'd say just feed once on the leaves and see if you get any improvement. You don't want to give too much N at this stage.
