Friends who steal your lighters

Why is everyone like ooh, i dont mean to steal them! it just happens, my friend ALWAYS taxes about three lighters a night off me, on purpose, i dont mind tho, he brings them back the next day fully gased up lol i always tax lighters if the owner isnt somewhat attached to it, i remember my friend got his lighter taxed by some kids on a bridge, they threw it off because it didnt work, and it was his mums who had died about 4 days previous, (we were goin to blaze up to make him feel a little better) and he looked heartbroken, literally looked as tho he was gonna cry, i felt so bad, and he musta felt a thousand times worse.. we got away and went under the bridge to look for it, we never found it, he spent most of that night trying not to cry, and even when we blazed up, sadness was in the air... lol just remember something so small can be very precious.

i think it happens to all of us... im the lighter theif!.. I dont know how but i come home sometimes with like 2 or 3 lighters not even mine. its crazy. I must get too high and after taking rips out of a bong i put the lighter in my pocket not thinking..oh well... atleast i never need to buy a lighter...ha and I swear once im high and trying to take another rip im always talking or some shit and my friends are always like "hit that! fuck" haha..

that being said... I am not sure what happened to my zippo, I think I lost it of my own stupidity. I am sort of upset about it but well... what is the point anyway, it's just shit, you can't take it with you. as long as I can light my cigarette/candle/pipe/etc with something, it shouldn't matter...so three thousand cheap Bic lighters are scattered around the house, it doesn't matter if some of them walk away.
