I am new to Cannabis.com and i think its great. I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

SO...I got some White Widow seeds, and i wanna get something going.

Miricle Grow.. is that good ? A reagular plant pot to get started?

what else do i need?

I would appreciate all and any help i can get.. Just the basics..

miracle gro is good stuff if you get the right kind... however, DO NOT START SEEDLINGS IN MG SOIL!! YOUR PLANTS WILL DIE!!! mg soil is too rich for baby plants. i start mine in a 1 litre pot of bacto starter soil, then transplant to mg garden soil additive after 2 weeks of veg. nutes in the soil generally last until flower.

as for mg nutes; make sure you get a kind that is safe to use on garden vegetables. these have no trace elements or additives. i use all purpose plant food for veg, 24 8 16.

for pots, you'll need a 3 gallon pot per plant.

now you need to study up on lights. what is your budget like? i use ge daylight flourecent tubes for veg, they work wonders.

go to the dollar store and get sterile soil without any fertilizer...no micronutirents...Nothing! then go to wally's or the garden shop and buy some peat moss and perlite. you can start your seeds right in a small pot for the 1st 2 weeks in this mix without the worries of nute burn on the tender rootless sprouts.
Mix Values:50%soil-25% peat-25%perlite

buy some general hydroponics 3-part flora nova series. don't let the hydroponics label fool ya. this stuff works great on soil, and it is as inexpensive as you can get. Will last you a long time for small soil grows. Probably the overall most popular nutrient program on the market.
Mix your nutes at 5ml per gallon each part and you will be real happy.
Regimen. Nutesph6.5..waterph6.5...Nutesph6.5...waterph6.5.. .etc.
