Switching 12/12 time

Without getting into why (very long story), i need to change one plant light schedual completly. The light comes on at 8PM and goes off at 8AM right now. What I need it to do is go off at 8PM and come on at 8AM. What is the best way to do this without stressing out the plant to much??

Either way, it should be ok. I'd personally opt for a little more dark time (so as not to scare them into thinking veg is back on), then back to normal 12/12.

Yep, that's what I'd do, and have done it before, just double up the dark period once to get them on the schedule you want. Didn't cause any probs. Wouldn't make a habit of it or anything (hermies possible if you do), but once, they don't seem to mind.
