Plant Height
Hello,
Growing a few plants of white widow right now in Drip * veg * then will go Ebb & flo for flowering.
I am looking to use my grow space to the best I can, and was wondering, on average, how much taller does a plant grow in flowering? I have about 4 - 5 feet of height room for flowering, at what height should I put my plants into flowering?
I will be using 3 400W HPS for flowering, possibly more.
Thanks

all my indoor plants have topped out a tad over 3 feet, however i'm a indica guy so i'm growing stubby strains, your plants wil most likely triple in size by the end of flower, also you should give them atleast 4 weeks of veg before flowering to let them reach sexual maturity, anything more than that is just going to give you more growth for more flower sites on your plant, but the bigger the plant the longer its going to take to finish flower

I hope they don't TRIPLE in size, or at least not in height. I started a Sativa-dominant plant into flowering 9 days ago, when it was 2 feet tall (not counting the pot, which is about a foot tall). It was heavily LST'd so it was probably really a 3-foot plant. It's 3 feet tall now even with the original LSTing, so it grew a foot in 9 days. Scared this thing is gonna get out of control on me. It could end up being 10 feet tall if it tripled (counting the pot). Which would pose a problem, seeing as my ceiling is barely 8 feet. Hope it doesn't roll me up and smoke ME! (Scary Movie scene, heh.)

just out of curiousity why are you switching to an ebb and flow system when you are going into flower. As far as I knew drip was superior?
