..I need help or suggestions...

..I am embarrassed to post this ..but ..what the hell...I am computer illiterate. 57 years old. Can anyone suggest a site, to improve my computer skills? I never touched a computer until 2 years ago. It's been mostly "monkey see, monkey do" so far...hell, I can't even figure out all the features on this web site yet. I get frustrated...especially when stoned. I went to the computer to learn to grow...mission accomplished..that was easy. But..I am stuck on getting any better..with the computer. I live out in the boonies, by myself..so it's just me and my old computer..I call it HAL 9000...some of you may be familar with that name. Thank you..for any replies.

my suggestion would be go to google.com and just search for some websites that will help people that arent good at comps...

If the sites don't help, check your local senior center or community college. I live in a town of 3,000 and our local college has excellent courses! Alternatively, ask anyone under the age of 18- they know it all!

^^^..I know what you mean...I had to ask the young dudes at work what wallpaper was..senior center?..not by the hair of my chiny chin chin. LOL....I have a BS degree in bullshit (geography-history)..but it was pre-computers.

I was going to suggest the local tech school, but I read your senior center reply...there is alwayds video professor. It is a good program.

the google idea for computer courses might work.
