Why should it be our responsibility to help Mexican citizens?
Hello canucktoker
I agree with you. It's never okay. I have met many fine upstanding mexicans, some illegal.

The legals wont do jobs that illegals do BECAUSE the pay is low. If my pay goes from $14 an hour to $12 an hour I loose $4000 a year. (2 x 40 hrs/wk x 52 wks=4160) Why would anyone hire me when they can pay an illegal less. And really it's more than the $2 an hour the employer pays. Besides the point of the $2 an hour the employee doesn't pay taxes IF the money is under the table which happens quite a bit.
I don't know why you brought race (white people) into it since that is not the issue. It's also not about you or what you believe the terminology should be and that doesn't change the issue. The issue is the people that are working illegally, taking money out of the pockets of the working man as well as taking money out of the USA.

It's nice of you to put in your 2 cents but it sounds like you are not affected by these issues. Where I live, I am.
