let your weed dry out a bit so it's not quite bone dry, but you can cut through it with ease using the tips of your scissors and take a shot glass. load it up with bud, throw the scissors in there and hold your hand overtop of it to keep the bud from flying out. start chopping! once done, dump out the weed and flip the shotglass upside down over a flat smooth surface that is fairly clean and give it a couple taps on the surface. the trichromes that were lost from busting up your bud will tap rite out of there no problem...now you got bud and about a half bowl of kief per full shot glass that you can sprinkle on top for an extra kick when you want it.
