The Best Way To Seperate Bud

Hi, I used to have a grinder, but its now completely broken! I want to smoke a reef but I want the bud to be into the smallest parts possible without using a grinder, if the worst comes to worst I will jusy have to use my fingernails or scissors, but what teqniques do you guys use?

considering your right handed (I am) get a bowl (like the one you eat your cereal out of) place your weed in between your index finger and thumb useing you right hand to hold some scissors and careful chop the weed between your finger and thumb.... making sure to keep peices of your finger from becoming one with your weed... enjoy!!

I used fingernail clippers for a while, there is a potential for unsanitary bud if you don't use clean or new clippers. I have also used garden sheers. I have known folks who used a blender, especially when they had lots of weed to grind. Also since I mostly smoke kind bud now I don't even like using my grinder, I just carefully break it up with my hands.

ive always just used my hands, but once or twice (after using my hands and stemming and seeding it) ive gone over it with scizzors or a razor (the kind for shaving from the barber shop type things) and then, if it's more than one bowl of greens, i'll just use my driver's license or something to scrape it into the baggie/tupperware. it's always been fine for smoking in a bowl.

use your fingers man, i always do that. its the way to go! for larder quantities, use scissors.

Just use your hands, thats what I do I just love smelling it on them for the rest of the day.

Let your weed sit out for a bit to get dry. Get your big wire mesh strainer from the kitchen. (If you don't have one, check the local "Dollar Store.) Put the now dry weed in the strainer and place it over a large bowl (or even a sheet of newspaper). Rub the weed through the strainer. When the weed is dry, it's easy to do. If it's still too wet, it will be harder. Finely flaked weed will fall through to the bowl. You may wish to remoisten the weed, since dry weed smokes hot. Stems and any seeds are left in the strainer. Been sifting grass like that since the 70s!

let your weed dry out a bit so it's not quite bone dry, but you can cut through it with ease using the tips of your scissors and take a shot glass. load it up with bud, throw the scissors in there and hold your hand overtop of it to keep the bud from flying out. start chopping! once done, dump out the weed and flip the shotglass upside down over a flat smooth surface that is fairly clean and give it a couple taps on the surface. the trichromes that were lost from busting up your bud will tap rite out of there no problem...now you got bud and about a half bowl of kief per full shot glass that you can sprinkle on top for an extra kick when you want it.
