Ok I see your problem. read up on LST. that is the art of tying you stem down parallel to the ground and buds all grow up toward the light. In a week or 2 start lightly tying the main stem down, so that you can veg it without growing into your lights.
Once plant is about 16 inches long...flower it. Or take cuttings to root into clones.
that is about all I can help you with here, as I have never had to try and grow correctly in such a confined space. I also would recommend using cfl's to keep your plant smaller. Read Bobbongs cfl sticky at Indoor growing. It has a wealth of info for growers with small spaces and small lights. peace and goodluck
LST= Less Stress Trainin. yeah i know a bet about it. i used to be a dedicated OverGrow.com user. RIP OG. learned alot there. but i like to know the SMALL details of doing things. or odd questions. only thing is i don't think lsting is enough unless i add a net above it and SCrog. but not sure if thats been done before and with me being new to indoor growing that would be a risky feat.

well i think im growing number 3 on tru leafs. i go the round one. 2 leafs alternading then 2, 3 leafed alternating and then theres 2 lil ones pointing up in the middle.
