    Question On Nutes...

Question : When ppl are vegin there plants for only 2 weeks instead of a month or more. Do you skip the Veg Nutes and go streight to Flower Nutes?

ive read and heard you don't start adding nutes until after 2-3 weeks of veging. but im not planing on veging for more then 2 weeks. so im wondering should i just by the Fox Farm Tiger Bloom. or will i need to use some Grow Big while flowering?

    Question On Nutes...

most use clones when they are only veg for a couple of weeks or even less so they do need nutes as the plant is mature.
in your case would still use veg nutes starting at reduced strength at 2-3 weeks old and increase the strength as needed until they show signs of bud development and then switch to bloom if you wish, however it is not usually required for the plant to flower.

    Question On Nutes...

Well, if the soil that you just put the clones in has some nutes, then you may not necessarily have to use nutes. Any how, just go with a small dose, but in the first week of 12-12 hit them with a decent amount of nitrogen so they don't start necrosis yellowing to quick.

    Question On Nutes...

    nope they were seed started.

using Scotts Poting Soil. had to transplant one already cuz roots were protruding from the drain holes and starting to harden. got a total of 3 plants the other 2 are a lil slower. each planted 1 day apart. so they are 6-7-8 days old right now. one more week add a few days each imma switch to 12/12.

so i should use the grow big even while on 12/12 until i see the sex and if female start the tiger bloom. makes since. thx any other adivce? probably goin to need a ph thing when i start nuts huh. whats the cheapest Ph meter? can i use the strips that they use in pools cuzi see that some do have numbers to let you konw the ph. are those fine?

    Question On Nutes...

You probably do not need vegging nuts... Scotts had plenty of chemicals in their soil...

And as the group has mentioned.. start with a diluted nutrient mixture when you do feed.. you definitley do not want to over feed your plants...

What size pots are you using? It is not necessary to tranplant just because roots are coming out the bottom. But I like your attention to detail! : )

How any nodes do you have?

    cheers

    Question On Nutes...

there small yet but i have on already tranplanted. sorta worried cuz the leafs are starting to droop buti felt them and they still firm and a flush green. any ideas. is that just what they do the first week or they always suppose to be perky?

um not sure on size of pots. about a handful and a half of soil in each pot which fills them 7/8 the way up. i got one plant that was growing to damn fast transplanted into a 2 lt bottle cut along the top of the lable. thats the one drooping. the other 2 are 1 and 2 days apart and growing a lil slower. i just saw one of the roots protruding the drain hole agin. and the tip is slowly drying and browing.

as of the nuds. 2 are on 2 and starting 3. and one the oldes is one 3. the younger ones have the rounded end leafs on the bottom and 2 leafs protruding the top as a second nude goin and you can see lil new born leafs in the center. the older one is on has the 2 rounded ended leafs and two, three leafed leafs and a therd comeing out. i keep em almost an inch to 2 inches close to the cfls.

So im ok just buying the tiger bloom and starting it at 1/4 strength after 2 weeks and start 12/12. after 2 weeks increase to 1/2 strength. another 2 weeks 3/4. another 2 weeks full strenght until last 2 weeks then flush with streight water.

question. are the pool ph strips ok? i can't offord anyting over $20 as for a metter.

also what can i do to keep the draining water away from the roots so my 2 lts. an't siting in the drainng water?

also sould i top after 3-4 weeks and lst and let her go. or just let her go natrual? im thinking top and tie down so i can have more big nugs instead of one big one and a bunch of lil ones. i want to scrogg on top of all this but im intimidated by scrooging.

    Question On Nutes...

dont transplant five day old plants wait a couple of weeks and they will be much easier to transplant and also dont use a 2liter bottle go buy some decent size pots 3 gallon pot would be a good size, some potting soil and some perlite to mix in.
wouldnt top if you are going to switch to flowering that soon if you wait another week before flowering you could pinch the top growth tip and then switch to flowering if you do decide to top, it is usually done either in veg or at the time of switching to flowering this gives the side branches time to grow during the stretch period of flowering.
still recomend veg nutrients, if you only buy one and not both would buy a veg nutrient and you may not ever reach full strength so just look at your plants and decide if you need to increase the strength.
bloom nutrients may help a little but the plant doesnt need that much phosphourus to flower in fact you veg nutrients and soil should have plenty and you will be less likely to have problems in flowering due to nute lockout or excessive yellowing due to insufficient nitrogen.

    Question On Nutes...

as was stated previously, peeps who flower after 2 weeks are growing from clone... from seed, the plants have to reach sexual maturity b4 they can flower. if you put a underage plant in flower b4 it's ready, you'll likely have stunted growth, as the plants will continue to veg until they are mature.

veg time for plants from seed is 4 to 8 weeks. i flower at four, but i have monster plants twice the size that they're supposed to be.

i've had my bb's in flower for about 2 1/2 weeks, the last one just showed female flowers today. firts to show was female, 4 day into 12-12.

make sure you veg long enough...

    Question On Nutes...

along with all the advice above...I must say; 1st of all you are still in the seedling stage. so you are not vegging yet!
Vegging does not start until you have 4-5 sets of true leaves or nodes alternating. NO nutes for seedlings!!! Once they reach that stage in a week or more...you would normally start your *veg nutes. then you can flower after 2 weeks of nutrients, but you will lose a high % of yield potential.

you should veg for at least a month...keeping in mind that normal veg time is 2 months.

Make sure to keep your ph around 6.5 +/- .2

    * As GardenKnowm advised;
Scotts soil probably has micronutrients and a time release nutrient of some sort, so be careful not to overnute your babies. In fact! I would just water them for a couple weeks to let them root real good.

3g pots are ideal for an indoor soil grow.

did you mix your soil with some peat moss and perlite?

One last note. You may have hurt your chances with the little seedling you transplanted. (Shouldn't do that! Consistency and a stress free environment is crucial  in the production of potent females) I would get some superthrive and add that to pure water 1/4tsp per gallon. and that is what I would feed with for at least 2 weeks! then I would veg. goodluck:smokin:
