Homeade bug killers.

heres a natural method of killing off those bugs that find their way to your babies, without resorting to the tobacco spray solution.

my friend sprayed the plants with a very diluted dish soap solution, then 2 hours later sprayed with clean water. then he boiled a garlic clove cut in half and 5 extremely hot chilis in 2 -3 liters of water for 10 mins. then diluted 5050 with clean water so the consistancy was like apple juice. sprayed that shit on the plants then sprayed with clean h2o again that night.

id say the treatment killed off about 75% of observable bug activity, and he will probably do the treatment again in a day or two. the process isnt perfect but its fairly effective for a homeade insecticide, and the plants dont mind the spray at all.

from what else ive read online you can basically make your own concoction out of many household spices but the main issue is boiling whatever to kill any possible pathogens or bacterias that could get your plants sick. i had good luck finding recipes for these remedies by googling search queries like "tomato bug problem home made insecticide" and the like.

be careful not to use too much soap, or any at all if you can get away with it because it seems to bother the plants if u use too much.

true, but nicotine is a powerful poison and not only for bugs! i wouldnt want to ingest any of the mist when i applied it, nor would any pets around.

you can also add some lemon grass and some cocunut milk and make a nice Thai curry.

I have a whole heap of them somewhere.. limmonene spray.. sticky flour spray.. garlic spray.. tommato spray... soap spray, hell if you can spray it I got it written down somewhere...
