k i plan to transplant tomoro night and things are lookin better except for a little nut burn. i think. i hope they gonna be alright. no more droopy leafs anyhow. and it looks like some shoots or somthin is sproutin and how do u tell the sex of a plant? and can u tell the sex from any of these picks.

green horn Reviewed by green horn on 11-21-2006. my second closet growing attempt! hi all fucked up the first time. but this time things are lookin 10 times better. iput the seeds in a towel and all 12 sprouted so i planted them the next day now i got some sprouts growing its all awesome. i will post some picks soon if possible. but i still have some questions. i have some plastic wrap over them right now so not to lose to much moisture how long should i keep it over them? i have 4 cfl's wich seems to be doin alright my temp is between 28 and 30 degrees celcius my Rating: 5

Thats your side growth starting to kick in. the lower half of the plant will start to grow out, trying all it can to catch up to the lights. Basicly it's just your plant about to hit another life cycle...which their are many.

I can't see sign's of sex yet with those photo's. thier clear enough, but I think it's still to soon. If your side growth has not kicked in till now, then I'd say roughly another 1 and half weeks left till you'd be able to notice anything. Keep in mind though at anytime, the plant could just start to go insanly mad with a growth spurt!
In either case you still have abit of time to wait.

When and just how much nutes. have you given them at this point? NPK ratio? name of product?

k i transplanted 4 days ago into 6 inch pots it was defanitly needed. my plants are doin much better. do u think ill need to transplant into bigger pots again before im done? and there is a few brown dead leaves on some of the plants would it be a good idea to cut these off now that there dead?
and i havent given any nutes since the nute burn a week ago . i use this schultz liquid plant food. 10-15-10. should i be givin them nutes again or just lay off for a while? ill have some new picks for u all shortly.

k here are some picks tell me what u think. and im thinkin about just using 4
40 watt cfl's for flowering this time they put out 2600 lumens and isint that close to what u want for flowering. mostly cause i wont have much time to set up a ballest and hps light. but my next grow ill probably use it. would it still work? should i be lst ing my plants yet? any feedback would be good. thanks all.

Hi Green Horn

I think that if you repot into 3 gallon pots before you start flowering, you won't have root bound plants. Transplanting while they're making buds might affect the size of your harvest. Just a thought. :thumbsup:

^.....what e man said, you can start flowering now, but you will want to transplant into a 3 gallon pot...a good rule is 1foot plant=1gallon pot.
