IMPORTANT QUESTION PLZ READ

Wutup im new, anyways i wanted to ask a question(s).. im trying to grow my own plant and really dont care about quality or anything yet...
i just wanna see if it will grow just for my first try CHEA
so i got some pretty good soil and a cup and just buried about 8-10 seeds apart 3 in 1 hole, 1 in another and so on.. are you only supposed to plant 1?
i really wasnt sure and dont really know what qualifies as a GOOD seed i just planted them.. so far its been about 2 days..under a 60watt lamp and when i can i put the cup outside to get sun then bring it back in i water it, and the cup has holes under for water drainage.
I MEAN WILL IT GROW? IS IT A POSSIBILITY? When should i discard it and try again?
i got the seeds from my ounces i buy and sell/smoke usually try and pick out the ones that look and feel good enough to plant..no expertise though just a guess..
i dont have a LAB..so i put it in my closet and then outside, i water it.. any advice on these things for a first timer, nothing too complicated if possible

EDIT: i got the idea from a COPS episode where this kid was caught with 2 small cups(SMALL WHITE STYROFOAM CUPS [sry spelling]) with small plant growing in each so i figured what the hell.. also any tips on what the proper SEED should look like? the seeds are from "REGGY" Regular weed so im guessing it might be easier to grow with those? DUNNO JUST ASKING

well the first place you went rong was not germinating the seeds the way you do that is make to paper towls wet and put ur seeds inbetween the paper towls and then when they sprout put them in soil, second place you went wrong is you never put more then one seeds per container, and when they havint sprouted yet its best to leave them in a dark wark place but if i was u i would through dat shit out and germinate them seeds if u got anymore

i got these items ie. alum foil, floures light, soil, seeds maybe just for ONE plant i will attempt to grow

SO im discarding them, anyways as i was doing so i decided to try and pick out the seeds from the cup with soil and 2/10 of the seeds was actually hatching SPROUTING? THAT MADE ME HAVE GOOD FEELINGS ABOUT MY SECOND ATTEMPT yes keep them coming

Just to answer your question quicly, plant 1 seed per cup. Don't plant more than 1 seed per. pot, or the roots will get tangled below and seperating is near to impossible withou certain death.

A 60W lamp? I take it that is a regular household bulb? If so, it is no good and won't get you far. They do not create the correct light spectrum.

Your seeds sprouted because during germination, the seed doesn't need any light, so now that you have a sprout, you need to switch to proper lighting, and a 60W regular bulb won't do it. The plant will stretch and stretch for proper light until you get it.

Do not switch from inside to outside like that. It stresses the plant out and it is not good for it. Keep it either inside or outside. If you bring it in at night time, cover it with a blanket or something so that it is dark.
