    vape question

    yes.
you dont want the flame to touch the vape. just close enough to vapeourize the THC. like, a bit less than a centimeter from the vape.

    vape question

Is there anything wrong with putting the flame too close besides more tar being released?

    vape question

well, if you get the flame too close, youre not vapeourizing it, youre burning it, so, you defeat the purpose, if you get the lighter too close, its just a pipe, and puts all the same shit in you that you are trying to avoid by using the vape.
