How many grows does a 400 HPS last? I'm using a 400 Grow Bright High output Super HPS (55000 lumens). I'm on my 4th time flowering with this bulb. I use HD for veg. These are my first 4 grows. Never replaced a bulb, but bulb looks dimmer to me, or maybe I need to look at tomorrow when I'm .......................................

Also, plants (White Russian & C99/Apollo 11) are stretching. Light in cabinet @ 15-18 inches from plants.

I wonder as well, I wouldn't imagine it would let you know by exploding when its had enough...

its due to be replaced and you will probably notice a big difference with a new bulb if you use the light for veg also would replace it every 6 months if just for flowering you might be able to get a little longer life out of it.
