do you like being in your family
I not only love my family, I like them, too. If they weren't my family, they're people I'd intentionally choose as friends. That's why it's hard to be in the process of losing a sister to cancer. She's also my best friend.
I realize I've been lucky. I've had loving, supportive, intelligent parents. I've tried to model that same behavior in the family I've built, too. Both my growing-up and current family eats dinner together whever possible, and we've always done vactions and holidays together, too. Right now, my parents and aunt and sister are here with us a lot and so we're doing lots of big-group meals and having a lot of fun. I also like my husband's family. (But not as much as my own.)\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
