Zippers for Doors
Was looking around for Zippers recently, and I came across two products. Something called Zip Up, and something called The Zipper, both work on exactly the same principal. For some reason I've found it almost impossible to locate anything like this in Europe so if anyone can point me in the right direction of a site that sells Zippers that you can put on i.e white plastic sheeting, cut down the middle, and create a door, I'd really appreciate it.

It makes too much of a noise regardless of whether its on the sides or down the middle, and you have to piece it back together to stop light leaks.

I will try to find a sight later on, but for now they are usually called peal and stick zippers, search with that name and you may come up with something. I use them and they are very handy.

Mega, take a look at item #320041574820 on ebay. That looks like what you're describing.

just use VELCRO ... hook-and-loop fastener ... WalMart, etc., sells it in rolls, back in their sewing department ... you can even get it with, or without, an adhesive backing, too ... cheap ... :smokin:

I use the zippers for growing and for work, they are awesome. If you take your time sticking them on...theyll do great. They seal up pretty good, very very strong. Much stronger then plastic. Dont make to much noise and they allow easy fast over and over access.
