This is a new one on me...what do you think?

Ok...it's been about a year since I've done a grow.Back in the summer i bought some Early Misty seeds and all 10 sprouted but since ,at that time ,i had very little control over my rooms environment ,the consequently succumbed to heat and died.I ordered a different strain (Northern Lights) from KC Brains ,which i will never order from again, and to date none have even germed.I reordered some K2 seeds from nirvana and meantime a friend of mine from another state managed to get some bagseeds to me to give me something to play with until my "good" seeds arrived.
I basically have no real contacts to buy any street weed so i am relegated to grow my own which is just fine with me.I've grown indoors several times basically with fairly good and pretty consistent results.Growing from bagseed is hit or miss anyway.I germed about 100 seeds and planted the first 24 that sprouted from those bagseed.I planted them in miracle gro potting soil in those little six pack things like you buy flowers in.These seeds were supposedly from several batches so i had no idea what to expect.
Out of the 24 that i committed to the dirt ,22 of them grew strong. They have been above the soil surface for 1 week and 5 days i think, give or take a day.All of the strong ones are almost identical with respect to leaf size and growth in general.they are all very stocky and the leaves are ridiculously wide.twice the width of my forefinger.I have never had one entire crop to be so identical.these look at least at this point to be all indica variety. What do y'all think? It just struck me as weird because all of them are very short, compact and the leaves are just super wide.Is this common to see now from bagseeds?

    .

I had that with bagseed too.
    I was very impressed.
I think it's probably because short, stocky Indicas are more common commercially. At least in my country.

These are really surprising me nicely.if they keep up their current progress i can transplant this weekend easily. These are growing so far with only the nutes from the pre-fertilized potting soil.since it was pre-fertilized i didn't want to take a chance on nute burn and i think i've made the right decision based on results so far.i will probably fertilize for the first time a few days after i transplant them. Thanks for the reply...Dee

How did they turn out? If they're still growing ,did the wide leaves and rapid growth continue?

I am very impressed with the overall health of them as well as the unreal growth rate.it's almost like you can see them growing.i can't wait till i put them under 400 watts of hps to flower.since they are growing as stock and compact as they are and since i have no idea what the possible strain might be ,i'm thinking that there will be no topping of this crop .I do want to take a few clones off these plants and flower the clones first i think ,that way if they do turn out to be good i'll definitely have some hardy mother plants. what do you think??...Dee

Those look great. You really lucked out getting bagseeds from such a hearty indoor strain. Nice indica leaves.... lead to nice indica stone!

BTW they're probably rootbound by now, time for bigger pots!
