i know its a bit overkill, but its better safe then sorry when dealing with your lungs. also, ive tried cleaning stuff with nail polish remover and not only does it melt plastic leaving it foggy and greasy, but it always residue behind on metals, etc.

Is it really necessary to use salt and rubbing alcohol again if all of the resin is already gone?

Could I just boil it and rinse it out good again?
Alpepiman Reviewed by Alpepiman on . Just cleaned my glass pipe... Hey guys, I just got done cleaning my glass pipe. I had to use Nail Polish Remover and salt instead of Rubbing alcohol and salt. After a few tries I got it fully clean, well at least as clean as it is going to get. The inside and outside looks likes it's new, except there is cloudy patches on the inside where the resin was. I rinsed it after with just warm salt water, then multiple times with just warm water. I rinsed it very good. There is still a very slight smell to it which kind Rating: 5
